assuming fairly stable 89F temps....

...I wait until the first egg pips on its own OR 55 days, whichever comes first, then I do small slits in all the rest...more often than not, even with a decent slit, the baby will start sliting somewhere else, even a few mm's away from your slit...instinct for the baby to use that egg-tooth...sjm
