Maternal Incubation PROS AND CONS?

Having never bred any herps before, i was just wanting to find out what you all thought of the incubation process?



Obviously, if a person is a breeder, and is dealing with huge amounts of eggs, an incubator is preferred.



But if a person was just wanting to breed one pair of JCPs, do y'all think it's okay to allow her to incubate her own eggs?



What are the success rates of this compared to hatch rates in an incubator (as a general rule)?



I would just like to hear about any experiences with maternal incubation... i just think it's more naturall; it seems such a beautiful sight to see a mother wrapped around her eggs.
