Here in the US, there are two common types of window screening:

fiberglass

metal/aluminum

It's not reccommended to use fiberglass screen as crickets are able to chew through this screening. Best to use metal/aluminum.

Have you been able to find good plans for building your cage? If not, there are several people here with very good cage building plans/instructions.

I noticed you posted this same question in two spots. I will answer at both spots to make sure you get the info. Good luck!



BTW, I absolutely LOVE this picture! I'm often asked about the length of a chameleon's tongue. A lot of people just cannot believe it when I tell them how long their tongues are. Very good visual on a chameleon's tongue length.

Oh, one last suggestion about your setup. You may want to include more foliage and branches.
