From the photo, kind of hard to tell, but I would say it is an albino red rat snake.
Now red rat snake is another name for corn snake and albino is what some people call a corn snake lacking black.
To phrase it more properly what you have is an amelanistic corn snake.
Amelanistic is lacking melanin (black)
now it depends on what he is asking for it price wise to know if it is worth it.
It looks like an adult.
It also looks nice and tame.
If you like the snake and can afford his asking price you should buy it.
I would seriously think twice, though, if it is over $100.00.
I have seen adult amels running anywhere from $60.00 to $150.00.
It depends on the time of year, possible breeding plans, possible hets and the person's desire to own the snake.
If you don't mind us asking...how much does he want for it?
