If your cage is filled with plants (live) and the floor is line with paper towels, a fall is not likely. I learned this the hard way. I had a small male panther who like to crawl and fell once...I immediately put in more plants, two scheffeleras, tea plants, etc...the vines and the next time...when he lost his grip he was caught but the leaves, etc.
