Redtails are great beginner animals, they will eat retired breeder rats(sometimes more than one a sitting) as adult. They have good temperments, and come in a wide array of colors. I would say there is the most information out about these guys and they are common just about anywhere. If you would like it to stay on the smaller size of 7 feet i would suggest getting a male. But you wont go wrong with any of the suggestions given.... | ||
