Out of the clutch I lost a perfectly formed and pigmented baby about a week before these hatched. I also had 2 very strange looking (major cranial and spinal deformities, no eyes) embryos. One died about halfway through the incubation process and the other I found alive when I manually pipped the egg. It was promptly euthanized. It was however, amelanistic, showing only white and orange pigment. Thought I had hit the jackpot when I first saw it. I'm guessing the pigmentation was probably linked in someway to the other defects. Anyone else every have any babies that were similar? | ||
