I just got an albino everglades rat hatchling. On two occasions, I observed him laying in a state where his body was sharply zigzaged (with 'sharp corners' VVVVV), as if he was 'broken' every inch or so. Shortly after each observation, he looked normal, and was slithering about fine.

As a bit of ?related-unrelated? background, this bugger managed to escape out of his quarantine tank the first night, and was found in the garage much later that day, on top of a cold concrete floor, dirty with spider webs...
