Breeding Questions?

I have a male and female leos which i would like to breed.



My first question is concerning their weight. The female is about 55g. Should i wait anylonger or is it ok to go ahead and breed her? My male is also around 55g. Is he ok weight to breed? I dont want to do anything to damage either one of the geckos. I want to do whats best for them.



My next question is, is it too late in the breeding season to put my male and female together. They have never been introduced. Infact they have only laid eyes on eachother once.



If i were to breed them i wouldnt like to keep the male and female in the same tank for longer then needed. Do i allow them to mate once and then take the male out of the females cage? Do i leave him in there for 24hours more then 24 hours?



For a cage setup i was thinking, 20 gallon tank, one hide on the cool side and a lay box on the hot side. I would use a undre tank heater to heat the enclosure. I would have water, mealworms and a calcium dish ALWAYS available.
