F1,F2, and so on refer to the generation(s) after the original parents. F stands for filial which means:

Genetics. Of or relating to a generation or the sequence of generations following the parental generation.

An F1 generation would be a salmon to a normal. An F2 would be and F1 animal to another F1. And so on. Once you breed two salmons together, you get the possiblility of having the "super" form or supersalmon. It is the "dominant" form. When you breed a supersalmon to a normal, you will have all salmon offspring. It is very hard if not impossible to tell 100% whether a baby from salmon parents is a super or not. The only way to be positive is to prove it through breeding. I am no means an expert on the genetics of salmon/hypo boas. If I made any mistakes in my explanation, there are many others on this forum who can explain in better. I hope this helps. The only thing I know is that they keep getting better and better looking with every year.
