Pricing, Male vs Female

Can anyone tell me why I see different pricing for for male versus female specimens? Foe example 2000 to 2500 for Sharp Strain Albino Females but 2500 to 3000 for the males.

I am sure there is a logical reason for this.

Also.........what does POS stand for in boa breeding?
