when Luna, my cham, is not eating when gravid I give her Fluker's Repta-Aid. It is available for insectivores and herbivores, but I guess a youngin' is more an insectivore so I would go with that one. Most local pet stores (esp. the chains) carry it and it is only about $10. You can get nutrition into him and it most likely will stimulate him to eat. If you go by the regular dosing it is pretty thick but you could make it more watered down (tip, mix it with HOT water so it dissolves better). Luna actually loves the stuff - thick or not - and will like it from the spoon once I get a taste of it into her mouth. I would guess beardie it would be easier since they will taste anything - lol!
I would also recommend weighing him now and then every other day or so to make sure he is growing. You can mix some Rep-Cal/d3 dust in to make sure he is getting the Ca. Do you live where you can bring him outside and get some "real" UVB? It may help, too.
I looked at the pic below and he is just a tiny guy! Darwin was just under 2 months when I got him and he was much bigger. I am guessing your guy was about a month or so when that was taken. What does he weigh? It is too bad that pet stores insist on selling them so young. There is just so much more chance of loss. I sure hope your little one does OK. Give the R/A a try.
