Posted by: umop_apisdn at Wed May 11 21:57:41 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by umop_apisdn ] ever since i first started hatching out cresteds i started weighing the eggs periodically. it really depends on how much they weighed to begin with. i would say if you started off with an egg that weighed around 2 grams in the beginning, expect it to hatch out in the 4-5 gram range. if you've got a real big female, expect the 5-6 gram range. so keep a close eye on those eggs the next few nights. i usually also notice that the eggs tend to get what looks like grease stains on them 1-2 days prior to hatching. i think this is either from the rapid growth of the egg or the geckos are actually trying to rip thru. | ||
