I tried a live mouse today just to see if I could get some response out of her. I left it in for a bit and watched with the lights out and determined there really wasnt an interest when the thing would go by and she would just shy away from it. She has not eaten since early Jan. and she was only about a year. Last meal she had was an ft med. rat left in and gone after dinner (my dinner). I did notice she was starting to shy a bit and would not take food by teasing anymore and just wanted it left alone. Well I have tried leaving ft. med rats and even ft mice in over night and nothing. So now after about 6 sentances you are thinking this guy is an idiot to not get the ball going off feed concept. But I really am not an idiot. She went off in January and its now may. I tried increasing temps a bit too. I just don't know when to care. Right now it is frustrating but she is holding good mass from what I can see. Ok, I will quit crying now.

On the bright side another female took her first jumbo rat today. I was feeding her mediums because that was the majority of my supply but I decided she could not be taking the mediums away from the other snakes any longer. Have no large so I think she will be skipping a meal or so since this was a pretty big one for her.

The african rock that did not seem to interested in an ft rat today thought the live mouse was nice. I think maybe that will kick up his feeding response next time I throw in an ft med. rat. Lets hope.

So now everyone is pretty much up to date with how I am doing since I have not posted in a while. Feel free to add your opinions.

Oh ya, how about peta and the lincoln park zoo. I thought they were laying a bit dormant after the FBI investigations and the great documentary Penn and Teller did on them. I wonder if this will be a bit more rational than their recent headlines.
