Breeding weights and age?

I have a partner that is willing to let me use his male Pastel to breed with my Poss Yellow Belly fem. He is currently about 380grams and 9mos. Do you think he is large enough or old enough to breed? Also, should he be producing sperm plugs by now? I was curious to ask what you think the split should be in that breeding loan? Is 50-50 good or should it be lower or higher? What is your opinion?
