You can convert furnature into cages as well. A wide set of drawers can be converted by taking out the drawers, adding a floor (or supporting a current one) creating a door either with plexi-glass or screen, then just add fixtures etc. Garage sales certainly can yield unwanted 75gal tanks or more. Also aquarium supply stores may have tanks that are leaking or cracked they will sell cheap (check your yellow pages, you may be surprised what people are doing as home based buisnesses) Those bargain type books the other poster mentioned are a good source, if you don't mind traveling abit. ALso check the classifieds here on kingsnake, under cages and reptile supplies. May find some good used stuff there. | ||
