I thought I would share this experience with you. On April 24 I had a female lay 4 good eggs and 3 slugs. When I thought she was all done I removed her and upon inspection I discovered a very hard object still inside her. It was very hard and did not feel like an egg. I know what they feel like. This was more like a slug. I put her back and 24 hours later she still had not laid whatever was in her. After setting up the good eggs in the incubator I placed her in a clean compartment and she started feeding 2 days later. She never missed a meal which is unusal for her. Last year she didn't eat until her eggs hatched. Her eggs where being incubated! Go figure!

I checked on the mass inside her regularly and it had not and would not move. I kept feeding her as usual and on May 17th she shed, pooped and finally passed the mystery object. It looks to be an egg, not a slug, but it is in deed rock hard. I've never seen this before so I thought I would share.
