On April 24 I had a female lay 4 good eggs and 3 slugs. When I thought she was all done I removed her and upon inspection I discovered a very hard object still inside her. It was very hard and did not feel like an egg. I know what they feel like. This was more like a slug. I put her back and 24 hours later she still had not laid whatever was in her. After setting up the good eggs in the incubator I placed her in a clean compartment and she started feeding 2 days later. She never missed a meal which is unusal for her. Last year she didn't eat until her eggs hatched. Her eggs where being incubated! Go figure! | ||
