Pre-Killed question

Im attempting a small p/k rat to convert my ball to rats but i dont want anything to do w/ the rat fighting back. I dont have the CO2 option for killing the rat so i was hoping some one would have some tips for me other than bashing the poor little guy against the wall. Ill check back in a little while. Thanks
