The male is 7ft, very big and heavy (eats 1 small rabbit a week) and the female is 5ft with awesome pink coloiring (eats 1 large rat weekly).. Both are dog tame, the male more than the female. The female does hiss from time to time but never has struck. I plan on breeding them in 6 months or so when the female is of age (male is 3yrs, the female is 1.5 yrs old)... I just had some questions for someone who might have experience breeding snakes.. I know that since they are boa's that its live birth (no eggs) which makes it easier on me, but i dont know much about how feeding goes while the female is pregnant and what i should do about the male being in the same cage once he gets the female pregnant because i only have one big enclosure for the both of them and if im going to have to seperate i wanna get a jump start on building a new cage.
