I've found that, with anything more than a 40W white bulb, I get bit A LOT more often. I've read articles talking about the high number of cones (light receptors) in the eyes of snakes, plus their eyes are stuck on top of their head with no eyelids. Perhaps, blinded by the light and excited by the smell of food, your guy is just striking at the closest "purple dot." | ||
