I have several young, under 180g, Suriname’s who are usually a charm to handle. But from time to time they will get down right nasty. With one I just left him alone until he came on top of the newspaper substrate I use; then he was great. With another I handled anyway only to be struck at for several days in a row now. Prior to this, this boa was down right friendly. Does my reaction to their behavior have any effect on it? Is this just neonate behavior? All of my larger boa's have never shown any aggressive behavior. I have eight boa's in total and have only been at it a few months.

Thanks for the insight - Al
