>>Does anybody else have any of these boas? I bought one because a typical common boa gets too large for my convenience, and she is an absolute doll. I know they have been known for being nippy as babies but mine has been nothing but a sweetheart, she's very docile (but not dead) and personable, and she has converted a fair amount of people who use to be terrified of snakes! I was just wondering what other peoples experiences/thoughts were on them? Feel free to (and please do!) post pictures, here's one of mine.

I own two. Have owned the female for two years now, and the male for one. Unlike the other replier's experience, both of mine have been calm and easy to handle for the most part. The only time I have had them get snippy with me is when they think I have food. The babies are usually a little nippy, but calm down quickly with regular handling and patience. ----- Lower Ground Reptiles
