this is the right place to ask. However, most people that post here own redtails so I'm sure you will get a 1 sided response. I do agree that redtails are easier to maintain and require less space but if the challenge is not an inconvenience for you and you can commit for the long run then get one. I have always wanted a green anaconda but have been unable to add to my collection because of the space it will eventually require. They both are awesome animals.
