Thanks, I'm going to take your advice and relax a little about the shedding; I'm almost positive it was just feces inside her old skin, I'd just never seen her do that before. As for the belly scales I'm going to keep a close eye on her, and I'm also going to pull out the cork log and find something new; it's been around for a while now and there's no good way to clean it. For heating the cage I've got an under-tank heating pad that I keep on low and a lamp up above, although I'm rarely using both anymore since the weather warmed up; lately the lamp (can't remember the wattage but it's low) has been enough to keep things comfortable, around 75.

You don't know me, but back years ago when I first got her you were the authority on Rainbow boas and eased me (and all the other beginners) through all the typical questions people ask when they're starting out. I'm glad to see you're still around, and glad to see you're still as helpful as ever. Thanks! (And thanks for the tip on the rainbow forum, I completely missed it)
