Posted by: JDalbo at Thu Jun 2 15:47:31 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by JDalbo ] My 1st female is only about 1 year/1 month old and already weighs 1100 grams (43 inches long). My 100% het albino female is already 900 grams and is only 9 months old. They seem a little large considering everone says to wait for breeding until 1500 grams (approx 2 years of age). They are currently feeding on 1 small/medium rat every 7 days. They don't appear overweight, just really muscular. Should I put them on a diet and begin feeding ever 2 weeks instead? At the rate they are going they'll be to breeding size at 15 months. My albino male which is older than the het female (11 months) is only about 700 grams and is really stubborn feeder (only eats 2 live rat pups every 1-2 weeks). Dont get me wrong. I'm really excited to hatch some albino's, however I view my snakes as my pets and don't want to jeopardize their health. Thanks in advance to | ||
