Hey Alan,

Have you proven them to be genetic in previous years?

I have a few that I think will prove out too. One female is awesome...I bred her to a pastel last year and got a small clutch...only four eggs. I didn't hatch anything that looked like the granite female. I hope that I just missed. I'll try again next year.

I bet that in the next few years we are going to see a lot of granites that don't prove to be genetic (especially with the influx of balls with one dot out of place being sold as granites). It is going to come down to a case by case basis.
I sure hope mine prove....I like them a lot. It would be a shame if they weren't genetic.
