Strog Light to Pacmans?

I've heard strog light isn't apricciated by pacmans. So my question is I have 2 light (Tubes I think u call em) one UV and one with regular lighting. I s'pose these give a pretty strong light, and is there a bigger chance for the frog to dehydrate if I use these? Or should I maybe use a undertank heating?
