They do not like constant temps across their cage. Keep them a little cooler than most carpets on one end and a little warmer on the other end. Also, don't feed them too often...perhaps one every 10 days for juvie and once every 2-3 weeks for older specimens. And yes, they can get quite large although very rare. There is a pic somewhere on the net originating from Australia showing a Diamond captured that is at least 10 feet long and by my guesstimation around 40 lbs. [ Hide Replies ]
