put youre cricks 1 min in freezer til just the leggs stop moving.

and then dust them and put them on a flat flagstone rock.

the crickets wil come alive if they just cooled of.

so they r easy to hunt and wil not hide in 5 sec

also the flagstone wil prefend to much sand in mouth.

yep calsisand is bad it can form one piece grain by grain then end result impaction.



i use already 5 years the wasched playsand type 350-400 degree heated .

its special for on the floor for pignons.

i even put my hatchlings direct on it i never have problems.

if you wanan take out youre beardie and make him tamer,then its all abouth you aproach him.

very low above the ground with youre hand/fingers you scope him up so he see youre hand come towards him and then let him climb on youre hand r finger.

if you pick him up from above yhe wil think you r a eagle/bird who wanna hunt for him.

dith you know they have a 3 eye above on top of his head in middle?
