I just got the powersun & when our AC was working ... the basking temps were a little low (91-93) by itself. Now that our AC is on the blink and the outdoor temps are reaching 90 degrees ... the temp in the tank is around 95-98.



So I guess what I'm saying is... it might work ok on its own, or you may need just a really low watt bulb to go along w/ it. I have my beardie in a 30-gal long tank (36"x12"x 17"H)
