i Just got a 100W powersun, and i don't think that it puts out too much heat. I have a 20 gallon high tank and at about 12 inches from the bulb i am getting temperatures around 90-95. So, if i could go back in time i'd get the 160W bulb. you can always change the distance of the bulb to your beardie's basking spot, and with the MVB, they are said to have a 6 foot UVB range as opposed to the max 6 inches with fluorescent bulb. one thing about the MVB is that you can't put a dimmer on them.
I say....if your beardie cage is near a window....go with the powersun....if not....do the reptisun and normal flood light.....and if you have lots of money....reptisun and powersun. ACTUALLY, could the combo of reptisun and powersun provide too much UVB? just make sure to have some shade...lol
