you have a good point there tom.

I just went and looked at don shors site and the albino desert kings are $300.00 each.Thats a far cry from $3k each so you are comparing apples and oranges?

Iam just saying that I don't know how they can justify a $3k price tag for a snake like that?

you say they kept it a secret for a few years why????? they should have come out whith it right away and could have got there asking price no problem, now I don't think they will get over a grand per snake unless they find some suckers like somebody had said?

No sir, as I said I too think that price is too high, much too high actually. Honestly the Splendida in my opinion is a steal, great price allowing many Albino lovers a chance at having one. What I am trying to say is I think she was smart to not tell people about the snake til she produced her own for sale. Remember it most likely started with one snake that popped up in a litter unexpectedly. Even if it was a few snakes, it still would take 2 or 3 years to get the project off the ground at a minimum. Another point I was trying to make was that the Splendida was offered in the form of hets before Albinos were available yet not many people took interest??? The Annulata was not there one second and there the next. And it seems to be getting more attention? This may be due to the fact no one expected it and now it is avaiable in Albino and het form. Overpriced..both of us think so, but some snake people have a lot of money to blow on these things so I bet they sell. We'll see if in a few months the ad is still up and the price is the same. I myself have White Sided Speckled Kings, and they're phemomenal. However since many other White Sided snakes were around first it dulls the effect a bit [even though they're the nicest of all] and did indeed make the initial asking price much lower than many other "new" morphs. I paid less the a grand for mine, and it was the first group offered. I feel 100% satisfied with them and with the price I paid. I do not think someone buying into the Annulata may be as content....but I guess ya never know. Tom Stevens
