times of the season, our males will start generating sperm plugs, and soaking in the water to relieve (for lack of a better word)themselves of the build-up. It will look like a two headed milky worm....lol that will branch off from 1 piece. Generally, our males will not start doing this for several more months, but then again, they are usually 18 months and older (with one exception a 14 month old Hypo Male). I wish I would have taken a picture of this, and will the next opportunity I have. Hope this helps even a little.
It is relatively common that CA's mature sexually quicker than Colombians, but I have never seen it quite as young as this 1 male.
