With all the people posting pictures of the beautiful litters everyone has been having, I don't know how much longer I could have waited for our babies to start arriving! lol Every day, I call my dad about 15 times to see if we have babies yet, and today we actually did! lol Boy do I wish I was in NY instead of being stuck studying (or being distracted by the forum!) in Boston right about now.
This was our first litter of the season and what a way to start it off... The female CA Motley we have on breeding loan from James Arnold and Paul Mitzelfeldt gave birth today to a beautiful litter of Motley and normal het's for T Albino! We weren't expecting her to give birth until around June 15, but we've found, at least in the relatively few CA litters that we've had, that the Central Americans seem to have slightly shorter gestation periods than our Colombians. Just means a few less days for me to be impatient!
Anyway, here are some shots. My dad hasn't really messed with them yet because we try to wait a day or two before we move them, so right now we only have the group pics...

This one is my favorite so far!...

And here are two pictures of yearling T 's that shed last week...I am so psyched to imagine this as a Motley!!!

I love the bright tail on the one below...

Thanks for looking!!
