I float my BD's greens in water in a shallow terra cotta dish (only way I've found that they don't dry out & wither in an hour w/ the heat) And I sprinkle dandelion flower petals & rose petals on top for color. Apollo seems to really like his flowers!



I've also noticed that he loves his calcium powder & use that on top of his pellets so he'll nibble on those. So you could always try adding some of that on top of the veggies too.



I don't use any pesticides/herbicides or fungecides on my yard or flowers, so I know nothing will harm him. He's good to go in dandelion greens until winter LOL! (of course it probably drives my neighbor who gets one of those lawn care services crazy as the seeds blow into his yard! gogo 3 year old son LOL) The rabbits really love our clover too. Actually, if I got rid of all our "weeds" I don't think I'd have a yard any more ROFL! Hey, but it's green and drought tolerant!
