Especially, when it comes to color. The Peruvians that I produced in 99 were some of the best ever, and if the parents were put up for sale right now, nobody would even buy them. It is all about the right combination and in my opinion and based on what I have seen over the years with myself and others, you get better colored and washed babies, when you breed a dark washed animal to a light one, verses breeding a light to a light and you also will retain the nice bold markings. That is why, I do not bother posting my animals. Most would not give them a second look, BUT when I breed them and hopefully get some babies this fall, I think you will be surprised at the outcome.......Johnson Herp [ Hide Replies ]
