Ryan-
Im not sure you are approaching this animal ownership with the right atitude. First off if you have a 7 foot female in a 4 foot sterilite cage your first priority should be to get that girl some more room. Sterilites are great for the yearling boas and neonates but once they get that large you really NEED to find them somewhere bigger. Now can you breed a 7 foot female and a 5 foot male in one 4 foot sterilite...Well I would say no because there isnt enough space for the female to move about the cage and females when being breed are very temperature dependant. I would say that a sterilite will not offer the array of temperatures that the female will need as well as the space for the male to retreat when the female is "a little grumpy". In my opinion you have other things to worry about before you worry about breeding. Get some bigger cages by Fall and then you will be ready to breed. But i think you are fighting an uphill battle to breed in a tank that small.
Sincerely,
Rose Hipskind -----
