Yesterday I placed a post inguiring about small BCs. One that was mentioned a couple times was dwarf boas. I have to admit I am a little embarassed in that I have never heard of these before, but after a little research I think these may be the ticket. So now I am probably going to become obsessed and start spending all my time finding out more about these creatures and figured y'all could help me out in my all-consuming quest to learn more.



- For starters, how do they do in the captive envirnment, are they a good hardy ssp in private collections?

Do they have any special requirements that differ from a BCI? (other than smaller cages and not having to be fed rabbits which is why I am interested in them in the first place)



- Is there a current market for them, are they somewhat readily available, what is a typical price for CB neos?



- Are they readily breedable? What about morphs/color phases/different locales etc?



- Any reputable breeders dealing in them currently? I did get into Rio Bravos site, that is where I have gotten all my info so far.





Anything else I need to know about them but don't know enough to ask?





I would also be very interested in seeing any picks you may have or any testimonials as what they are like to keep.
