Triple anti-biotic ointment is NOT meant for use in eyes. OPTHALMIC anti-biotic ointment is what you want to use: This is a situation where it would make alot sense for you to go to a vet & get the proper ointment from her/him.

You will end up having plenty left after treating your turtle: enough to use on another turtle should the problem arise again.

In the meantime, soaking should help keep the eye(s) from crusting over or sealing shut & the pus from caseating. Soaking is not a cure, but can help alleviate the symptoms.

Another option might be to see if the rehabber can help you out.
