The true Jungle mutation was a Swedish born trait. The breeder (I do not know who) proved the gene to be inherited in a co-dominant manner. Peter Kahl brought them into the United States and could provide you with the best information. There is, or at least was a Super Jungle.



If you see a "JUNGLE" offered for sale be very questionable. A LOT of people are selly abberant (non-genetic trait) animals as jungles. Jungles do have a specific look to them in color and pattern (pattern is variable). Talk to Peter and get more information. Jaguar Breeding Center, is in Sweden and may have produced them first I am not sure, they also had the Jaguar Carpet Pythons, thus the company name. Celia Chien and another breeder or two did just have litters, I think one was Mark Miller.
