The Jungle morph can be very confusing so I'll try to share a little bit of information with you...



Jungles are a co-dominant morph. Most of the confusion with this morph is determining what is a Jungle and what isn't. If you take a look in the classifieds, you'll see a few people advertising boas for sale as "Jungle-ish". Boas advertised in this manner are generally not from the genetic Swedish line of Jungle Boas. The Swedish line of Jungle Boas is the ONLY proven line of Jungles with a SUPER form (as far as we know of).



The Swedish line of Jungle Boas was originated by Lars Brandle and was brought to the U.S. by Peter Kahl. I'm not sure when Pete imported the first Jungle Boas. I personally find that my Jungles tend to turn a very nice yellow coloration as they grow. I have a female that is about 3 feet long right now who is just neon yellow. My adult male is not as bright as she is but is more of a golden yellow coloration. We have some photos and information on our Jungles on our website. Here is the link to that...
