I think Hog Isle boas are pretty neat.
Seeing pics here and there I wasn't all that impressed... but then I got my lil male from riobravo and once I saw him I was in love, they really do look so different from normal BCi, such nice pale colors. They tend to have a more visually distinct dark and light phase. I personally like the hogs with speckles, I think it is a classic look. Out of all of my snakes my boyfriend's favorite is the Hog Isle.

Mine is just a pet, I only have the one Hog, I could breed him with my salmon female but I won't. I am hoping to get a nice female hog isle to raise up sometime at the end of this year and then hopefully 5-6 years down the line maybe I'll have some lil baby hoggies.

My guy had a typical hog attitude, he did NOT like being bothered, would get all huffed up and hissy (hisses really loud for such a little guy!) that went on for a few months but with regular (like once or twice a week) handling he calmed down quite a bit. He still gets hissy right after being fed and sometimes if I startle him into waking up and he doesn't want to be bothered (see pic below, he didn't want to be bothers by the paparazzi, haha) but usually I can just reach in and take him out without any problems.

did you have specific questions about their care or anything?
hope some of that helps...
