My recommendation is that if the stuff you bought isn't actually Provent-a-mite, return it and order this stuff. Then you can spray the cage and the branches. This is the best an most reliable way to get rid of him. While you wait for it to arrive, clean your cage, and soak your snake in water with a little dish soap. This will help till the Provent-a-mite arrives. Just order it now.
