I was told they are captive bred, and were shipped from eastern Canada (I am located in the west). The male seems ok being handled, the female is a little shy. I have read Adcham's article, but it is quite short on the subject. However, I have been reading extensively every bit of info available online. Thanks for the tip on husbandry, they are temporarily in a glass terrarium (with mesh inside to block out reflections and to provide something to climb on) until next week.
I am misting them 3 times a day, and have seen the male licking water off the leaves. Feeding them medium sized crickets, although I have seen neither eat today, if it keeps up I might buy some mealworms (easier to hold out for the chameleon). I am not getting my hopes up on breeding the two, although when the female does lays her eggs I will incubate them.
thanks again!
