As far as I can tell there are now crickets missing from the cage which is a good sign. I am unsure of the subspecies, but if you like I can post some pictures of the two. For substrate I am using coconut shavings, but I may not use substrate in the mesh cage when I get it. They have lots of vines/fake plants for climbing around the cage as well. I plan to get a hibiscus/pothos if I can find a local nursery that sells them. If I see the female roaming around the bottom/looks pregnate I'll just give her some sand for burying.
