It is a beautiful sunny day here in Prince Edward Island, Canada. There isn't any wind and it is not disgustingly hot like it has been lately. The baby is down for a nap, my housework is done, so I thought that I would take roan outside for a while. I have been reading alot about how to get chams out of their cages. Roan hates us now that he has his new cage. He used to come out all the time, but he was in a much smaller cage then. Anyway, I tried putting my hand like always and he got onto my hand, but as soon as I started moving it out of the cage, he freaked, fluffed up at me and took off so fast I thought he was going to fall. They really don't look where they are going when they are in a hurry. So, i left hime alone for about 5 minutes, and tried to chase him with one hand, and catch him on the other. He didn't fall for that though, he just stayed still. He did move his head behind a leaf to hide. I don't know why he thinks just cause he can't see me, I can't see him. Then I put in a plant for him to climb onto, which I would let him bask on outside, but I think he had caught on by that point that I was up to something. I don't want to pick him up off a branch, but I want him to enjoy some natural sunlight.



Any suggestions?
