Last year, I was observing my females that were breeding and in one of the females I noticed these dime to nickle size..almost bubble like shapes showing through the sides of the female. If you ran your hand down her sides you could actually feel them as well as see them on the female. They are squishy and just seem to give the appearance of bubble wrap. They are not easy to notice, but once you see them you know what to look for. Anyway, my male Salmon has been breeding an Anery female, and I was checking them out and noticed the female has those same bubble shapes through her sides. They were only in my other female a day or two, so it's pretty cool that I caught it again in this female. I am guessing these are folicles. Has anyone else seen this as well? Just thought I would share. Andy
