look HUGE! Especially that Hypo! They also look like they have some awesome tails and I like how BOLD their patterns appear. Sorry to hear about the stillborns. Like both Jesse and Joe mentioned, color is the last thing to develop so since they were premature, I would think that they look the way they do because of that...? I don't have much experience with premature babies either.
Although...with my Hypo Jungle litter, the female did hold onto the babies for quite a few extra days and when she had them, there were a couple who had really big yolks and one female in particular who I wasn't sure if she would make it or not. Well, she did make it and she is doing great now, but it looks like she's got a little bit of extra skin around her head (which maybe she'll grow into...?) and she is extremely light colored with a somewhat odd looking pattern - compared to the rest of the litter.
I know when we cut Ball Python eggs, sometimes the babies look really "pale". The Ball Pythons generally stay in the egg for about a week soaking up the last of their yolks before they even think about wanting to crawl out. Once they come out though, they are usually MUCH more colorful than when we first cut the eggs.
Anyways, congrats on the new babies. At least the ones that did make it look GREAT!
Thanks,
