Point A) You made it clear that you did not want to get an INDIGO snake, but instead wanted an answer to a question, that question being basicallly the degree of calmness that these snakes exhibit.. or do not exhibit, when being handled.

Point B) Dean Allesandri took the time out to answer your question, evidently not in the manner that you approved of by your response. Its a shame that any of the people on this forum that have experience, when asked to impart this on other new members,sometimes find themselves catching grief for it.

Point C) Eastern Indigos,Yellow Tailed Cribos, Black Tailed Cribos,Rubidus etc are more akin to COBRAS than any other snake that I have seen. In general, EASTERN INDIGOS TOLERATE being handled...with emphasis on TOLERATE. Generally speaking they are moving and dont sit still, but there are exceptions to the rule. I have sat and watched an entire movie with my oldest male Indigo, "Cadillac" laying in my lap.(R.I.P.) And taken the same snake to a classroom presentation, only to have him go every which way but loose. They are individuals and the response varies from snake to snake.
