RE: snake eggs?

I seem to remember reading that Speckiled kingsnakes like to lay in piles of sawdust.

However, if the pile was not damp, there's a good chance that if those ARE snake eggs, they are dried out and dead.

Snake eggs are leathery, not hard like bird eggs.
